Splashdown Flumes - Tower Parkis the South's ultimate waterpark! In winter there is a choice of 8 fantastic rides. Each one with its own twists and turns generating a real buzz for the rider and loads of laughs, thrills and spills for all. Younger visitors must be at least 1 metre tall and confident in water to ride the flumes. If they don't quite fit this description or feel the flumes aren't for them, Towerpark offers a super little 1 metre deep fun pool where they can play to their hearts content.

The Tank Museum is the museum of the Royal Tank Regiment & Royal Armoured Corps and features the world's best collection of tanks and action packed live displays. It is the only place where many of these rare and historic vehicles can be seen. Fresh from a £16m investment in new exhibitions and facilities, with almost 200 vehicles on display in 6 large halls, you will come face-to-face with tanks that have seen action in all the major wars of the 20th century. Ideal fun for all the family.

Swanage Railway is the perfect way to explore the Isle of Purbeck on a steam train that carries its passengers from Norden to Swanage. The fun starts at Norden, where you can park your car and board the train. From Norden the train will carry you to the ruins of Corfe Castle. The train continues its journey to Harmans Cross, where you can stop and enjoy the scenery.

Sherborne Castle is one of the most magnificent historic homes that Dorset has to offer. Dating back to the reign of Queen Elizabeth the house is a popular tourist attraction and member of the Historic Houses Association. The gardens make a very tranquil environment with a lakeside walk that winds in and out of impressive trees, including giant cedars and Metasquoia.
